Dr. Cecilia Zsögön holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, a Master's degree in social policy, and a PhD in Social Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires.

She has collaborated with numerous NGOs, as well as governmental institutions, including the Ministry of Labour of Argentina. Her research interests primarily focus on the issue of violence against children, particularly in relation to child labor, trafficking, and exploitation, as well as border regions, social policies, and human rights.

Currently, she serves as the secretary general at the UNESCO/Janusz Korczak Chair in Social Pedagogy at Maria Grzegorzewska University.
