Prof. PhD Florica Orțan is the director of the Teacher Training Department at the University of Oradea, Romania and responsible for the disciplines Fundamentals of Pedagogy, Theory and Methodology of Curriculum, Training and Evaluation, Management of the class of students and Management of the school organization. She is the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Teacher Training and Education Research. The main academic concerns converge around the issues related to educational management, the innovation of the process of initial and continuous training of teaching staff, as well as those of the new theories of education.
